Polish Foundation for Management Research has been created in a response to growing challenges Polish organizations have to face. The Foundation finds it place between both the business and the academic world. Poland used to be a country where these two domains have practically little in common. It is one of the reasons the Polish economy suffers from low input of innovative solutions. Moreover, local managers are taught mostly American concepts of leadership or management, be it during business trainings or EMBA courses alike. Polish psychological tests are used solely occasionally in recruitment, selection or developmental processes. Mostly foreign tests of often doubtful value are employed.
